The New Millennium (also known as 'Y2K') was a term used in the 1990s to describe the coming of the 21st century and 3rd millennium, popularly beginning in 2000 but actually beginning in 2001.[1] It was also used in the 2000s decade, especially in the early 2000s, to describe the present times.
